MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 16, 2011

HCDA held the monthly meeting on June 16, 2011 in the Zorzi building.  Bob Mueller, Al Little, Sandy Zorzi, and Joyce Espenschied was in attendance.

The minutes were read and approved by Al Little, seconded by Sandy Zorzi.

The treasure’s report was read and approved by Al Little, seconded by Sandy Zorzi.

Al reported that we have 125 people participating in the garage sale.  A discussion was held by the committee.  Mary Fox would like the addresses of the garage sale participants.  She plans to send a letter to each to encourage them to join HCDA.

Roger Ramsey of the Gas Pump Museum is interested in painting murals on the buildings throughout the downtown area.  He already has someone to donate the paint.  He would like to look into getting donations from the Reeves Foundation or the Rosenberry fund.

The Red Carpet committee is still working on the event.

Last year’s scholarship recipient, Madison Frank, has passed the criteria for receiving the second year’s scholarship.  Last year’s check was lost so we will put a stop payment on the first check and then issue her a check for $970.00 this year.  We are deducting the stop payment fee of $30.00.

Bob Mueller presented an invoice of $104.66 from Buhler’s to cover the cost of hot dogs for the car show.  Al Little moved to pay the invoice seconded by Joyce Espenschied

Next month’s meeting will be July 21, 2011.
