Historic Canal Dover Association wants you to join us in making 2011 a banner year! What is the Historic Canal Dover Association? It consists of members of the community and merchants of the downtown and surrounding areas. What are the benefits of a membership in the association? Communication-a monthly newsletter detailing upcoming community events. Networking-meeting other members and sharing ideas. Be included in the HCDA's Website. Community Involvement-HCDA has been around for seven years and in that time many events have been hosted annually and many projects have been planned and completed. Promotion-HCDA will be highlighting a local member business each quarter in its e-letter. What are some of the accomplishments of the organization? The HCDA hosts these annual events Red Carpet Rollouts for all new business in Dover Sidewalk Sales Community Yard Sale Co-sponsor of the Kustom Kemp Car Show Co-sponsor of the Dover Christmas and Halloween parades Co-hosts of Meet the Candidates Projects Canal Toll House Clean up of the canalway Rails to Trails participant If you are interested in being involved in the bike trail we have a “Friends of the Trail” membership for $20.00 How much does it cost to join? Individual $ 25.00 Not for Profit Business $ 75.00 Business $100.00 For a yearly membership fee of $250.00 the HCDA hot dog cart is available for use at your event. HCDA is a 501-3C, so the dues are tax deductible. ----The bottom line---- The organization needs you!!!
