Warther Museum

The Warther Museum, at 331 Karl Avenue in Dover, showcases 64 ebony, ivory, and walnut train carvings created by Ernest “Mooney” Warther.  Thru the summer months, stroll through the Swiss-style flower garden’s to Frieda Warther’s Button House that holds a collection of over 73,000 buttons arranged in beautiful designs on the walls and ceiling.  The Original home of the Warther’s is now open to tours.  Step back in the 1920’s.  Also Warthers are fourth generation knife makers, who produce outstanding kitchen cultery which can be purchased in their gift shop or on-line.
